At Vape Gear, we pride ourselves on good quality products that will last the distance so we offer 12 months warranty on select products.

Products covered under 12 Months Warranty

  • Battey mods

  • Starter Kits

  • Tanks


Products NOT covered under Warranty

  • Elqiuids or E juice

  • Dry cell batteries (sold separately)

  • Drip Tips

  • Coils (RBA & Disposable)


All products are subject to normal wear and tear as the days goes by. For e.g.... Constant plugging in and out  from the charging port on a battery mod will cause the socket to enlarge and reduce the firmness around the socket. Products classified as "normal wear and tear" will NOT be covered under warranty.

What we consider normal wear and tear

  • Worn or loose charging ports on or around battery mods

  • Worn tank seals

  • Faded color and diminished appearance


Warranty Process

If you feel as though your product qualifies for a replacement warranty then you must contact us first, either by phone, email or visiting us at the store. If you cannot visit us at the shop then you must send the product to our nominated address at your expense that we will provide to you. Once your item has been received for review, we will then determine if it is covered under warranty or not. If your product is NOT covered under warranty then we will ship it back to you at no expense and reimburse your shipping fee to a nominated bank account provided you have chose a reasonable transport service such as Australia Post. Please do not use TNT, DHL or independent couriers. If your product qualifies for warranty then we will replace your product for you provided we have stock. If we do not have stock then we can credit either a nominated bank account or provide you with a store coupon to match value of your product.

All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange coupon.



When you change your mind

Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under the policy and our obligations to you.

  • At Vape Gear you have 28 days to return your items (some exclusion apply) for a full refund or exchange as long as it is returned in a salable condition with original proof of purchase. The refund will be provided using your original payment method.

  • By salable condition we mean that the item hasn’t been opened or used, is still in its original packaging and all manuals, packaging and accessories are included.

  • Products must have the original security seal or and shrink wrap is intact.


Excluded change of mind items

The following items can not be returned if you change your mind:

  • E-Liquids or E-juice (Heat or humidity may alter the compound of the liquid during transport and we would not be able to re-sell Liquids)

  • Drip Tips (Are not sold in sealed bags thus we cannot guarantee hygiene upon re-sale)


Other products:

Vape Gear will accept returns and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund (refund will be provided using original payment method) or repair where:

  • The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality

  • The product does not match the sample or our description

  • You can present a Vape Gear receipt or other adequate proof of purchase

Vape Gear may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Please be aware that data (including, puff counters and pre-set temperature controls) may be lost during the repair process of electrical and electronic products. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all personal data is deleted before returning to Vape Gear.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair goods.
